Lamborghini fires up after warm up lap

All he wanted to do was to get the Lamborghini 'warmed up' - to keep it in tip top condition.
But no sooner had the car revved up, that things went wrong - so wrong that the Lamborghini Gallardo, costing over RM1mil, went up in smoke.

The car burst into flames along Jalan Beringin in Bukit Damansara at 11.50am Friday.
“I was driving up a slope when I noticed smoke coming out of the engine,” said the car owner, who'd rather stay anonymous. He stopped at the side and got out.
“I had the car for three years and it was heartbreaking to see it go up in flames,” the man, in his 30s, said. He suspects a fuel leak to be the culprit.
Firemen who arrived minutes later could not save the car much except for the front portion.
The Italian-made Gallardo is powered by a V10 engine and has the capability of reaching speeds of 300kmh.
